About these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of StockBase, a stock chart and pattern scanner operated by Stockbase (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using StockBase.
StockBase helps you explore automatically detected chart setups across selected Indonesian and US stocks. It does not execute trades, hold investments, or connect to your brokerage account.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms to create an account. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of StockBase complies with the laws that apply to you.
Investment information and risk
Charts, pattern labels, explanations, confirmation levels, invalidation levels, and other results are provided for research and education. They are not investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, a recommendation to buy or sell, or a personalized assessment of suitability.
Investing involves risk, including loss of your entire investment. You make your own decisions and should independently verify information and seek qualified advice when needed. A detected pattern does not guarantee a breakout, a price target, or any future return.
Data and pattern limitations
Market data comes from third-party sources and may be delayed, cached, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. Charts are not guaranteed to show live prices. Coverage is a selected stock universe, not every listed security.
Pattern detection uses automated rules and can miss setups or produce false matches. A shape score measures geometric fit, not the probability of a profitable trade. Results and explanations may change with the timeframe, filters, new candles, or a fresh scan. Weekly candles may still be forming.
Accounts and access
Visitors can view a limited chart preview. An account is required for all detected charts, fresh scans, intraday timeframes, and additional grid layouts. Authentication is provided through Clerk.
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and do not share access to bypass restrictions. You are responsible for activity under your account, subject to applicable law. Contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Access is currently offered without a paid subscription. If paid features are introduced, their price and applicable payment terms will be presented before you are charged.
Acceptable use
You may use StockBase for lawful research and information purposes. You must not:
- Bypass authentication, access restrictions, or security controls.
- Access another person’s account or interfere with the service.
- Send abusive requests, introduce malicious code, or overload our infrastructure.
- Resell or redistribute third-party market data without the necessary rights.
- Use the service for fraud, unlawful activity, or infringement of others’ rights.
Ownership and third-party services
StockBase’s branding, software, and original content belong to Stockbase or their respective owners. Use of the service does not transfer ownership of those materials. Third-party market data, charting software, and other materials remain subject to their owners’ rights and licenses.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. Their services, content, terms, and privacy practices are their own responsibility. StockBase is not affiliated with or endorsed by any listed company, exchange, or market-data provider.
Service changes and account closure
We may update the scanner, change supported stocks or features, or interrupt access for maintenance, security, or provider outages. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We may restrict or suspend access for misuse or breaches of these terms. You can stop using StockBase at any time and request account deletion by emailing hello@stockbase.id.
Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, StockBase is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for investment decisions you make based on scanner results.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, or losses arising from inaccurate market data or service interruptions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy and updates to these terms
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle account information, cookies, and service data. It is separate from these terms.
We may revise these terms as the service changes. The updated version and effective date will appear on this page. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.
